Resident Evil 5 Demo Walkthrough (Shanty Town)

James Here's the second walk through & guide for the Resident Evil 5 Demo Shanty Town. Shanty Town As you start off, run straight down the path to the end and slash open the crate to your right for some ammo. Now turn around and jump through the window to the left. There should be three zombies inside. Pop all the zombies in the face, and collect all the items in the room. Now as you leave the room, you should see a herb on the floor, pick it up. Now head off to the next area where a cutscene will start up. After the cutscene, you'll see the chopper is taken down by some flying creatures. These guys only take 3 bullets and they go down pretty easy. So head straight on to the broken ladder and assist Sheva getting up. She will cover you from the roof while you go around the side and make your way towards the door. When all the zombies at the door are dead Sheva will jump down and follow you again. Head inside the building, take a left into the bathroom. Watch out for the zombie in the last cubicle. Collect the ammo and head back into the main room. There is another zombie hiding around the corner with a barrel beside him. Kill him, slash the barrel and collect the ammo. Start heading upstairs in the building. There will be two zombies on the second floor. Kill them and head onto the balcony to collect the grenade on the floor. Once you have that, head up another floor and get ready to assist Sheva in jumping across to the other building. Once Sheva has jumped, turn right and you should see the ledge leading to the balcony below. Jump down quickly and bring your rifle out. You need to keep Sheva safe until she can make her way out of the building and open the locked gate downstairs. There are a few explosive barrels which you can shoot with the rifle that will help you a lot. Once Sheva has unlocked your gate downstairs, run down quickly and clean up the rest of the zombies in the area. Once they are all dead you should explore the area collecting as much ammo as you can as you are about to fight the Chainsaw Guy (One eye). At this point I normally trade my rifle for Sheva's machine gun as I find it more useful here. Here is a small list of items in the area:- -> Green herb on the floor -> Barrel around the back of the building Sheva was in -> A crate hidden in the same area as the barrel, but it is behind the door -> A few crates inside the building Sheva was in -> A grenade in the burnt out bus. When you're ready, head up the long path to be greeted warmly by the Chainsaw Guy in a nice cutscene. As soon as you see him coming down the hill, do a quick-turn and run back a bit. Now turn again and look up at the pole beside him. There is some sort of electrical box you can shoot which will fall on his head to do some quick damage. This guy is much the same as the Axe Guy, although he runs much faster so you're going to have to stay on your toes. Whenever you get the chance just shoot him in the head. As before, when he stumbles run towards him and hit him with an uppercut. Then run a good distance away so you can reload, turn and continue shooting him. If you;re running low on ammo remember you should have grenades which you can throw, and you can shoot the explosive barrels as well. Just keep doing this and he will eventually fall. When he dies, he will drop a Gaurd's Key. Take the key and run up the hill to where he came from. Use your key on the door and you'll see a chest to award you for completing the level. It contains some gold and a few gems. Enter through the last gate to complete the level.

Resident Evil 5 Demo Walkthrough (Public Assembly)

James I'm uploading a pretty simple walk through & guide for the two demo levels in Resident Evil 5. Public Assembly When you first start, run down the small hill until you come across the first building. There's a small clipboard on a table beside the entrance that you can check if you want to know how the new Dying system works. When you feel you're ready to start enter the building. A rather brutal cutscene will start up showing the Axe Guy executing someone, and the infected villagers in a rabble. When the cutscene ends the villagers will be incoming. Take this time to push the two shelving units in front of the windows (Stand at the side of them and press [] or X) - this will slow the zombies down a bit. Once you've done that you may want to collect all the ammo in the room. First check the drawer that the TV set is on, open that and collect the handgun ammo. Beside the drawer is another box of ammo, pick that up. You should also see a barrel in the corner, slash that open and pick up the grenade. There is also two small piles of fruit, if you slash these piles you will see there is ammo hidden underneath them. Lastly is a small crate on the table next to a pile of fruit, this should contain more ammo. By this time the zombies should be breaking through the windows and pushing over your shelves. Hold them back with your handgun and shotgun. Sheva's rifle isn't much use here. When you see a clear path to one of the windows make a run for it and dive outside. You should see a pretty large gate is the only way out - and it is locked. Soon enough the Axe Guy will come and break down the gate with his all mighty axe. Run straight by him being careful to stay out of his swing radius, and take a right. If you follow this wall to the end you should see a big orange gate that you can investigate. You can't get through but there is a nice machine gun sitting near it, in a case beside the burnt out car. As this level is just a survival mission, you can if you want just run around like a maniac for 9 minutes and you'll complete the level. I however think it's much more fun to blast the zombies to hell and then kill the Axe Guy. The best way to do it is to just stay more than 10 yards away from him and keep blasting him in the head. Every time he staggers and stoops down, run towards him quickly and hit [] or X, which will deliver a nice uppercut doing a good bit of damage. If you can uppercut him about 5 or 6 times, he will fall. Here's a list of things you can do to make him stagger and stoop down:- -> Shoot him with enough bullets in the head or chest. -> Throw a grenade at his feet (Incinerator grenades wont work, they just set him on fire -> Shoot an explosive barrel as he walks past it (The big red barrels) Alternatively, if you're too scared to fight the Axe Guy then you can take to the upper levels of the buildings where he wont be able to reach you. For example there are a set of stairs that take you on top of a building, then you can jump to the building across and make it on top of a burnt out bus, he wont be able to reach you there. There is also another set of stairs in a building which take you to another upper level. From this level you can take the ladders to a high spot where you can pretty easily survive until the time runs out.
